What do Squirrels and Rainbows have in common? ...
Here is what happens when you need a quick Easter gift or table decor: You USE WHAT YOU HAVE!!
Today, on my CRAFT, CHAT & COFFEE LIVE stream on FB and Youtube, I decided to see what I could come up with with what I had on hand. I hadn’t even used my Nuts About Squirrels stamp set this past Fall. But when I was thinking about Spring animals, I have a LOT of squirrels in my yard and I thought, “Why not put a twist on this cute little creature?”
I envisioned a rainbow squirrel carrying, instead of his acorn, a bundle of sweet little colored eggs or jelly beans. And this little project was born! I also mention the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set that would be cute as an Easter-colored hedgehog!
In my video, I show how to make the paper basket and it’s SO easy and quick. Because today is FRIDAY, ya’ll and Easter is TWO days away! Check out the video here: https://youtu.be/ve9-xotZ0N4
Here are the written measurements and basic instructions:
6"x 6" cardstock or Designer Series Paper Score 2" across for each side
Cut 2 sides, up to the center square
Edge with decorative edglit (optional)
Use tear and tape, or another strong adhesive, to bring the edges up on 2 sides to form the basket
Add handle, using ribbon or decorative paper, 1/2" by 6-12" long
Here are the things that I used in this project that are available right now! Some will be discontinued at the end of the month, some carryover to next years catalog. The Hues of Happiness DSP isn’t available until May 3, 2022. Check my online store for current products available! www.tonyad.stampinup.net
