Some of my favorite things: Sunshine and Rainbows
Does anyone else feel like the weather is crazy this Winter/Spring?? Talk about long birthing pains of Spring! It's middle of April and I feel like it's the end of February! I am under a fleece blanket and sweatshirt.
This stamp set and framelits bundle is so happy and positive. It was fun layering all the elements and combining the cute cloud cutouts with the cloud stamps. The rainbow stamp was also fun to use. You can use it in the traditional Rainbow spectrum of colors or change it up a little differently using analogous colors. In pinks, or blues for a baby card & gift, or black and grays for a sophisticated feel. How fun to think outside of the box! Stampin'Up! also has some super cute embellishments that make the raindrops 3-dimensional: Glitter and Clear epoxy shapes. The sunshine is a framelit shape and I used the dazzling diamonds glitter paper and sponged on daffodil delight ink for the glittery sunshine.
A great sentiment too, "you can't have a rainbow, without a little rain". Will be a sweet get well, encouragement card for anyone who is lucky enough to recieve it.
Many of the things used in this project will be discontinued at the end of the Occasions Catalog and several of the colors are retiring. Check out the items and get them before they are gone!
