Farmhouse Christmas #3

Today’s card is again built from the bottom up. You’ll see that I used the Scattered Sequins textured embossing folder to be my base. Then I had fun with the one swoopy (highly technical term!) thinlit in the set. And played with the patterns. I love mixing and combining patterns. I’m definitely a MORE person in the design department. I can’t help it, I just love motion! And with the greetings written in the paper, it just seems to sing “Have a Happy Holiday!”. The house thinlet reminds me of building a gingerbread house, without all the sugar….but it’s still sweet. You can stamp the little swoopy lights, and I stamped the house on DSP (Designer Series Paper) and fussy cut the roof. It was a little involved, but not hard. I finished the card with the adorable picket fence. It cuts so clean and crisp. Oh, on the house I used blends again to achieve a little flicker in the window and paint the shutters. Who wouldn’t want turquoise shutters and doors for Christmas?
