"Smitten Mittens," said the Kitten.

I love a good rhyme, don't you? Even if it's simple. And this one reminds me of "Three Little Kittens who Lost their Mittens".  I loved that book as a child, then as a mom. I love the idea of poetry and design going together flawlessly and in a way that, well, just works. And is memorable. And you love to see or hear or read over and over again. Well, all of this talk IS going somewhere! haha! The Smitten Mitten stamp set is just so sweet! And ALL the elements are fun to use to create lovely designs that are SO much fun to create.

I think I'm also in love with the Merry Moments Designer Series Paper. Black and Green and White. WHO would have thought it could convey such warmth and sophistication with color??? It's absolutely gorgeous by itself, then you can add a little bit of sparkle with ribbon or embellishment...and tada! GORGEOUS PLUS  times a million. Really. That is not hyperbole. Well, maybe a little. However, you won't get tired creating 100's of cards for the season with this group of products. Take a look at what I came up with this afternoon.

I stamped the saying on the left card on White Shimmer paper. It makes the ink look like it's had a Wink of Stella added. Great & quick greeting.

The various elements in the stamp set give a hint to hand stitched embroidery.

The snowflake on the black printed paper was made by using the snowflake embossing folder & then inking just the raised embossed area with White Craft ink. I see stars with this design!

This card was created by starting with the black snowflake designer series paper. Then I stamped the stitched images in real red, old olive, and powder pink. Did you ever thinking of stamping MORE on the printed paper??? Try it, it is fun & looks cute, too.

Oh, by the way, BLENDS, the long-awaited alcohol markers are available on November 1! That's TOMORROW people!!!! Look for some fun ideas, and more details on the blog tomorrow.

love and sunshine and sparkly glitter,
